The name of the quilt references the movement inherent in the circular design of the color wheel, which takes us on a journey of the emotions that colors and their different values stir in us as we transition from one hue to the next. Color Wheel (E)Motion is an early exploration into color in my quilting journey, where I began to play with gradations in color and value creating ombre-like effects.
